We have never had a dog before. This one was rescued and is 2 years old. Not a small dog he is german sheppard mix with floppy ears and a nice golden color. He is very jumpy. Did we make a mistake should we have rescued a puppy instead? Any tips are helpful. We looked on the web and find only easy stuff like heel, sit etc. Help please.
Daisy I tried walks but he just likes to sniff all over the place and runs around us. We are quite a sight. He runs and then the leash is around us. So we are giving him run of our fenced back yard.

take the poop from where ever he does poop and place it in your yard when he walks around he will smell his own poop and poop in the same place
